Went to see Fly Me To The Moon, during a weekend stay in Wotton-under-Edge. My wife and I absolutely loved visiting this small, independent, village cinema. It's not the most lavish cinema we've been to but it was comfy, decent enough quality screen and audio, and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced for the tickets and the in house drinks and snacks. We really enjoyed the overall experience, it really felt like like minded people were in there with you. No smart phones were out, no unnecessary talking, people seemed freer to really laugh when they wanted to, and a few people even sang along to the songs they liked during the film. It really felt like a cinema experience, how I remembered it to be growing up. I would definitely recommend watching a film at the Electric Picture House.

Great little local business, decent seats, friendly staff better than the big name theatres.

Update: Went to see the play "The Motive & The Cue" streaming live from London's National Theatre at the Electric Picture House last night Sat 30/03/2024. For less than £30 we had 'front row' seats! And thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We'd seen screenings of ballet and opera before but this was our first play. For anyone who can't get to a top-notch theatre or who, more likely, can't afford expensive theatre seats, this is the next best thing and the EPH is an intimate space to watch it in. Our fellow cinema goers were respectful of each other and quiet! Enjoyed an intermission drink (a can of Budding and a can of G&T served in (plastic) glasses for only £7). A great evening at very little expense!
Such a little gem of a cinema where you can buy an alcoholic beverage if you so wish and drink it while watching a film. How civilised. The seats were comfortable enough to sit in for several hours and the auditorium was just at the right temperature.

Our favourite cinema. Feels so much more of an event. A sweet old fashioned and wholesome venue. Love it.

What a great cinema, both times I have been all the staff have been lovely and it's more reasonably priced compared to other cinemas.

An absolute gem! Wotton is not a big town but to have a cinema which shows both blockbusters and art house films makes us very lucky. Comfy, air conditioned and just generally great.

Such a lovely cinema in the center of Wootton. Friendly service, affordable drinks and snacks (please don't bring your own), comfy seats and free car park. Inc wheelchair space and good accessible toilet too.

Such a lovely cinema, so much more of an experience compared to the soulless multiplexes, and great value for money!

Comfortable seats, friendly welcome and great selection of snacks. Film presentation was excellent. Great value on locally run cinema. Highly recommended!
